Information about the IELTS Reading test:

The IELTS Reading exam is divided into three sections of increasing difficulty.

This test requires you to answer 40 questions in 60 minutes.

In my opinion, the IELTS Reading exam can also be seen as a vocabulary exam. The reason is that you need a wide range of vocabulary to understand the passages of text given to you. You must also have an awareness of synonyms if you wish to identify the information required to answer the questions correctly.

i think the biggest problem in reading test is the pressure of time...increase the time from 60 mins to 75 mins to truly test our english skills...otherwise in 60 mins you are probably checking pressure of time and not english

I used to get 6.5 in reading but after this video I got 8 thank you so much. I used to read whole passage and then awnser the question but, although I was a good reader and I knew lots of word I would have just forgotten the detail. I even finished it in 50 minutes !
