So much of this resonates with me as I’m working through my first IT role and I’m studying to build my foundations while everyone is talking cybersecurity. I loved doing my labs in Azure so cloud is interesting but I don’t know enough to decide if that is my path. Skill that leads to greatest general employment marketability is my goal so a lot of this seems logical to me.

Found this through a repost on linkedin and i am so glad i found! 💖 This is very insightful. You have made a lot of valid points which confirmed a lot of things to me. I am aiming towards cloud engineer roles but I'm hearing it is not entry level even though i have seen so many people working as cloud engineer as their first job in tech. What is your take on that according to current market of 2024?

Thanks Anna and Fayomi. Its a great video and very informative.

How would you describe what the minimum an experienced cloud engineer should know and have experience on before considering moving to a specialism? Say for a example; network cloud specialism
