Brilliant game! Still complete it at least once a year. Favourite char must be Drumstick, just for the chicken sounds alone.

I played this A LOT and completed it 100%, brill game. I agree that the adventure mode made the single player campaign particularly fun. Crash Team Racing was also great on the Playstation.

I’ve been thinking for awhile that Mariokart needed new modes, like an Adventure Mode or a cooperative boss battle.

You have confirmed my bias. Thank you. While I enjoy mario kart 64 in terms of strict racing with friends, Diddy Kong racing wins for the ambition, the single-player, the tracks, and the music.

I always mained Tiptup in this one. Diddy Kong Racing is phenomenal but it exists in a weird space for me. I only played Mario Kart 64 as a kid and didn't play this one at all until 2021. I think DKR is better than MK64 but I revisit MK64 more often because that nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
