Scolopendra gigantea, Giant centipede hunting yellow chick

Scolopendra gigantea, Linnaeus 1758 hunted yellow small chick.

Her name is Ta-era, meaning "strong" in Warao language.

She broke her one fang by herself while trying to bite the old enclosure hinge.

I do not prefer to feed vertebrate due to its risk of giving damage to keeping animals, cost, morale.

But please understand that Scolopendra gigantea hunt vertebrate in wild including bats, mouse, toad, etc.

I promise this feeding was to initiate her appetite and supply more nutrition. She lost 12g of weight(20% of her usual weight) from last injury and the weight lose is continuing. Hope she could recover soon from one's life.

Who will not know every life is valuable.

Anyone here have any info on scolopendra metuenda? Supposed to get 10+ inches and from the solomon islands. I have a couple of them I but can't find hardly any info on them anywhere. All i can find is 1 single field report describing them. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'd love to be able to breed them if possible since they seem rare. I'm always happy to learn new tips from more experienced centipede keepers!
