Can the device be used with Windows OneNote? Can the handwritten information be converted to text in OneNote?

This could be either: 1) a potentially good alternative to Surface Pro 8 (if there is truly something special about the hardware), or 2) a potentially great app to run on your SP8. But by the time you’ve produced a good note taking tablet with a cool core app, why cripple it like this and force it to be an extra device?

Why waste time and money building a hardware device just for note?
Why not focus on making an app, for Windows, Android and iOS?
Look like are are trying to copy office 365.
