In the slide it is shown as jenkins needs to be installed on the jenkins slave, but you said it need not be installed, I am bit confused here.

Question, I see you have a t2 micro instance running where you installed jenkins, is this an existing server you already had that you are installing jenkins on? What kind of server is this? Apache?

Hi, intellipaat,


That's a great video, with your help I have learned how to create a Jenkins pipeline, but small help, as I have shut down my system and trying to make my connection again to the agents it shows,




INFO: Using /home/ubuntu/jenkins/remoting as a remoting work directory
Both error and output logs will be printed to


and the connection is getting a timeout and I am not able to connect with my agent, kindly please help me with this error, As I am not able to find the solution on google.

I have a doubt and confusion too while addying the node while we are choosing launch agent via java webstart I m not getting that option in the launch method instead of that I get 1. Launch agent via ssh 2.launch agent via. Connecting it to the master . 3. Launch agent via. Execution of command on master what I should choose please reply asap
