1964 Aston Martin DB5 Fiesta Red

Restored in 2005 by Kevin Kay Restorations, this car is restored to the original color and interior. Only 42 DB5 Coupes were painted in Fiesta Red and 18 have been confirmed color changed.
The engine is a standard 4.0 litre inline 6 cylinder and the suspension is also standard with no upgrades.
I wanted to experience the car as if I had walked into a showroom in 1964 and purchased it from new.
I started cleaning this car in 1970 for the previous owner while in high school and purchased it in 1983. I put it away for 19 years before being able to have the resources for restoration.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated peoples gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car parts will be banned as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investment should be done any more in oil burning and smoking cars at all....
