Bought my 580 last Christmas in a Footlocker branch in South Korea.
I had to choose between the 580 and the Nike Air Huarache. And I tell you it was a tough decision.
But I'm glad I chose the 580.
Inside the shoe on the tag it says "THE INTELLIGENT CHOICE". 👍😊

I've been wearing the 580 for over 10 years. I've always thought this was a slept on model. The 580 has nice colorways, and the shoe is comfortable, and durable. Some pairs have really nice suede. Never understood why these have been slept on.

Most of my sneakers are NBs, but this is my first ever 580 silhouette/model. Once I saw Kith had the collab, I jumped on them. Didn't get them for retail unfortunately. But the materials and the color looked so dope, I was willing to pay resale for them. Still waiting for them to arrive, but reviews like this make me happy that I was not the only one to see how nice they are. Great review!

The 580 and 999s have always been two of my favorite silhouettes from NB. They were basically not made, at least very rarely for a few years and hard to find here in Europe. Nowadays there are great color ways on sale everywhere and I’m ecstatic about it.

And with the huge popularity of 2002r, 1906, etc I’m just pumped that we get more than just my beloved 574s and extremely expensive 990s.

Have to visit one of their stores, went to LA a couple years back and had to stop at its location, it was literally underground. It felt so exclusive with security everywhere. Loved it, plus the ice cream 👌

The New Balance retail store is where I figured out my shoe size. I know other stores do it but they have a machine that provides details on foot shape, etc, which would be helpful if you're not sure of your size. As far as the QOTD, I hate paper cuts (especially from boxes 😣) but a stubbed toe is a different kind of struggle when you're on your feet all day for work.

I always been rocking NB's 574 since the 90's. Crazy colorways. 801 All Terrains were dope! A couple years ago found 580 GORETEX at a Ross for $30!!!! NB has got to be a staple in the shoe rotation!

I commented on the last New Balance review (1090r) that I'm from DC, so New Balance is not a secret to me. They've always had great materials and quality. Their recent colorways (and especially collabs) are showing a ton of creativity and willingness to push their brand beyond grey 99Xs and J. Crew 574 colors. It's much appreciated.

Great video, I own Nike, Jordans, Adidas, Puma, and others, but my favorite shoes, as far as comfort, have gotta be my New Balance pairs. From 990's, 2002R's, 9060's, 57/40's, all of them are mad comfortable! I've seen 580's but haven't tried a pair yet. That is going to change soon. Thanks for another dope video from Weartesters!

I got a pair of 580Rs last year, and love rocking them. The materials are on point, and they're comfy for daily wear.
