Personally if a guy has spent all that time being friends for 5 years, closer than family with Nicola, if he loved her romantically he'd be with her, as it seems she adores him.. however, he is immature, and with a girlfriend of just 23 to his 31 that shows. Nicola doesn't need an iffy partner who's not as stable and grounded as she is..he would deplete her energy just supporting him..her level of success and popularity would also be an issue for him if he is unsecure.. how much of a support could he be to Nicola ???
