Mud will act like a sponge. Rage should help lock it down. I don't know your process, but if you are using grease and wax remover, you need to let it gas out for a day or two if it gets on or in your bondo. I had a spot on a door where it reacted when I laid down primer.

I just ground out the old pink Bondo. I have not cleaned it up with 80 grit discs yet. I removed at least 12oz of old cheap filler. It was reacting to the solvents from the sealer coat. Hope to sling some Rage extreme on it tomorrow. 1 step forward two back.

I have not put it directly onto the filler but I do use it. The bondo I removed was not from me. It was from the previous owner. I will only use Rage/Evercoat.
