THE VALUE OF THIS VIDEO:
THE MAIN VALUE IS EDUCATION. This reconstruction will be useful for actual or future air traffic controllers and pilots, people who plan to connect life with aviation, who like aviation. With help of this video reconstruction you’ll learn how to use radiotelephony rules, Aviation English language and general English language (for people whose native language is not English) in situation in flight, which was shown. THE MAIN REASON I DO THIS IS TO HELP PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY EMERGENCY SITUATION, EVERY WORD AND EVERY MOVE OF AIRCRAFT.

SOURCES OF MATERIAL, LICENSES AND PERMISSIONS:
Radar screen (In new versions of videos) – Made by author.
Text version of communication – Made by Author.
Video editing - Made by author.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.

Dude, the guy mostly working the radio on the plane sounds like it's TTS of the transcript lol. His consistency in cadence, tone, and just overall enunciation is amazing.

"We have 36 souls and 7300 on the fuel. Wait, 7200... 7100... standby"

Damn. The readbacks are so clear and concise.

Even emergency aircraft don't want to go back to LaGuardia LOL

Also, I liked how the plane had an hour of fuel at the first request, and then an hour and half of fuel by the second request! LOL

in august of 2018, Sky King, Richard Russell said that same thing as he was flying the Dash-8 around the state of Washington. He said,
“I gotta stop looking at the fuel, cuz, its going down, ‘quik’”

Everyone involved was excellent on the radio, much better than we normally hear. Clear, good enunciation, getting the info across quickly without speaking too fast to be understood.

CRJ 700-900 have the worst fuel panel. I’ve added 3000 lbs of fuel to these and literally watched the gauge never move. I’ve also had them jump 3000 lbs after adding 135 gallons. I used to keep buckets under the wings of the 100 back in the 1990s because they spilled fuel every time.

What I don't get is, if they had a fuel leak "highly flammable jet fuel" bad enough to trigger alarms and be visible on the gauges, why when they landed and were asked about assistance they respond with "not at this
I think stopping on the runway and shutting down would have been prudent, considering the hot engines and brakes with a leak you have no idea of its location. Having the rescue guys check it too right?

these pilots were so professional, it was k like having a flat on your car

Just wondering, if you've got a fuel leak do you really want the plane taxiing accross the airport dribbling fuel?

Why not opting for Newark which was the closet option?

The lack of a turn from the NY controller after the emergency declaration was poor. The other approach controllers' and the Endeavor pilots' comms were super sharp though.

Uninformed question: at 15000ft, an hour thirty fuel reserve, LGA marginal flying distance from Kennedy, why not fly a reciprocal course back to base

Do you have the comms of the emergency from flight AA925 yesterday?

Possible fuel leak, no aircraft inspection, no runway inspection, taxi around at JFK, what's going on?

Is this the fuel leakage that we saw video footage of, just the other day? And there we had it again: they were asked twice by two different controllers to give the amount of souls and fuel on board. Suggestion: develop a system, where it is possible for the controller that gets that information, he/she can type it in the system, and it is than immediately added to the radar label of the plane on all radar screens, including that of the tower. So all next controllers can read the required info, and the pilot do not need to be bothered more with asking it over and over. And maybe even better: send the entered data of souls and fuel (and hazmats) right away to the airport fire departments so they have that info as well. Technically this should be no problem I guess...

evidently fuel was leaking INTO the tanks from outside because they went from having an hour of fuel at initial emergency declaration to an hour and a half of fuel by the time they landed.
