After capturing his sixth title in six different divisions, Oscar De La Hoya fought Bernard Hopkins on September 14, 2004, for the undisputed Middleweight Championship title. De La Hoya lost to Hopkins after he was caught with a left hook to the body in the 9th round.

Oscar was a great warrior but here and watching the body shot, which seem more like a punching slap, and making an excuse for 1 second is just knowing that he didn't want anymore in this match!
