Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL Re-case - LBC#58

It's another rehouse video today! This video was a tough edit, because when Caradog and I got together to do it, we'd just finished doing the Saturday Podcast and were really low energy, so I've opted to mostly montage it. Hopefully you can still draw some ideas from it though, and see what kind of stuff is out there!

intake on the side, radiator to the top, exhausting, this is best set up for PC-O11 Dynamic cases.

I think I would have preferred the AIO rad/fans in the top and the 3 fans mounted alongside the motherboard it would have looked better in my eyes. I can see why you planned it the way you did it does make sense. Ideally, you have a controller as you mentioned to take more fans so eventually 3 more could have been added to the bottom later. I also picked the white XL recently it so nice to work with and I've gone with a full custom loop makes it so easy.

I built in the Lian Li this summer. They look and perform great! Mine is the non XL. Half an hour? 9 fans with rgb and power. I tossed the controller, bought hubs for fans, and rgb, ran to the motherboard connectors. It was a couple of hours of hiding wires.😆

It is not a problem to mount the aio with the hoses at the top. As long as they're higher than the pump. The air in the system will always go to the highest point in the system

The fans on the radiator are pointed as an intake so they are putting hot air in to the case. U should put the aio on the top and position the fans as an exahust then put some fans on the side as an intake

I really like those hot-swap hard drive bays on the Dynamic XL. It's different and has a beefy feel to it.

Finally a correct AIO mouting (tubes down) as pointed out by GamersNexus! It's a good reference for my build but my AIO is 360mm so if I can't route the tubes or it ends up looking bad, I will mount the radiator at the top and add side fans for aesthetics. Thanks for the video~

AIO fitted at top, 3 non rgb fans at base, add RGB led strip to the base, side vent I would have two intake RGB fans, I'd stick other RGB fan at rear for exhaust, also add cable mod extensions

There is a good reason for hose placement. Despite the manufacturer's best efforts, there is a small amount of air present in the closed loop. You don't want that pocket of air in the cpu cold plate or the intake/return part of the rad.

great re case but one thing i noticed is the the radiator would work a lot better if turn up side down because or the air bubbles in the aio system
