Van Conversion Cost | How Much Did Our Custom 170' Sprinter Van + Conversion ACTUALLY Cost?

Hi Friends!

How much did it actually cost to buy & build out our van?! We're sharing the cost of the van, the conversion cost, and some category breakdowns (ie how much we spent on our kitchen, bathroom, etc.)

DETAILS ABOUT THE VAN: In July 2019, we purchased a new, 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo Van (High Roof, 170”, 2500, i4 Gas 9-Speed Turbo Engine).

You guys have done an awesome job here! I love, love, love, love the vertical cabinets you have next to the shower. I can't recall having seen anyone else do that in a build and I think it's great. Also, I'm giving you a standing ovation for going with the gas model. I really believe you are gonna be much happier in the long run with it, less cost of entry, 30% less fuel cost (current national averages), lower service costs, and not having to bite your nails waiting for the first time you have to have the DPF and SCR systems serviced, repaired, and replaced. Keep up the great work!

Great vid! You guys mentioned you had a design company help you. Does the cost in the video include labor to build it? Or did you guys build parts of it yourself?

Did you guys consider an mini split AC? Or a 12v air cooler (uses water)?

I plan to not go above 15k, but i want to implement alot of stuff too, so i have to make up my mind where to save money.

So I’m only 12 but my dad is teaching me photography he is a wedding photographer for cooked photography he shoots really good pictures and he’s teaching me he said if I help out I’ll get about 60$ per photo shoot I did the math and for the whole price in the future I would need to do 1350 photo shoots in order to be enough to afford this under my budget. Of course my parents are very supportive so they may help me with buying some of this but I feel I’ll be paying for the most part. Two weeks from now his assistant Jen is teaching me photography and once I learn I’ll be able to make money wish me luck 🤗 thx for the vid it was helpful:D
