Great seller and easy to make. Using a new tool.
In this new woodturning video I am using a new tool to turn an easy craft show project that sells great at craft fairs. The project is a candle stick holder. These are very popular as a set of 3. Don't forget to check out the links for the new tool and the company website.
As always, thanks for watching!

Another fine project nice to hear the voice behind the fingers lol, new tools that bowl gouge is tempting gonna check em out, like you say if the edge lasts longer then less sharpening and wearing the tool out prematurely .

...'nother cool project...I like the commentary as it's a good insight to your thought process...
Seems like a decent tool company as they don't appear to gouge the customers like some others...😉

Candlestick holders are not new for craft markets, however your design is interesting and your timber has a really nice graIN.
Here in Australia it is illegal to sell candlestick holders without a metal candle stick insert so that if the candle burns down the wood cannot catch on fire. Usually brass these inserts add a nice addition to the holder and of course safety is paramount.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice to hear your voice finally. Been looking for a 1/2 inch spindle gouge and the site has one at a decent price, so thanks for the tip. Looking forward to your video on the friction polish.

When you were drilling the stock with the Forstner bit your lathe was struggling. Either your lathe is seriously under powered or your belts are slipping like they're greased! My other observation is your new "Bowl Gouge". Are you sure that's a Bowl Gouge? The bevel angle looks all wrong for hollowing a bowl. It would do more scraping than cutting.

Do you know what the bevel angle is on the bowl gouge?
