I have a question regarding pinion depth in a Gm bolt My current pinion depth was 2.576. I had a 0.034 shim behind it. My new ring and pinion is calling for an installed height of 2.59 2 that puts my required shim at 018 at my disposal, the shims I have are a 0.015 or 016 and a 0.019 and a 0.020. what are your thoughts on which direction I should go?

This may sound like a dumb question but where do you find the specification cause I'm actually in the process of my 1st ring and pinion job doing gear swap from factory Ford 9.75 12 bolt 3.55 to a 3.73 with truetrac lsd
