what i hate is just the fact that nintendo is posting videos and art about acnh on their socials and not actually doing anything to the game

Nintendo is smart from a business since in that ACNH massively over performed on the Switch. Instead of scrambling to release more content they stuck with what was probably the original plan and are instead focusing on a sequel.

Plus, I don’t think the games engine / Switch hardware could handle a whole lot more. The game really slows down when you get to heavily decorated island.

I have faith that whatever comes next for Animal Crossing will be great, though!

I've been an Animal Crossing fan since day 1. Been through good & the bad. We were fortunate to get ACNH on day 1 of the COVID lock down. It helped us all get through a very tough time in the world. There will definitely be more more games forth coming! Bigger & better things are on the horizons! This franchise is most definitely a MAJOR franchise now for Nintendo. Bob's Gang.

I got New Horizons as soon as it came out, and it has been the best game I’ve ever played . I’m not suprised it sold 45 million units! By the way I love your videos, keep up the good work! ❤

I think nintendo needs to realize that a lot of players aren't likely to update to the new switch unless there is a new animal crossing game coming out at the same time or close to release date

I have all the fish and bugs, and I love catching fish and bugs. If NH could get something as simple as an update containing new fish and bugs to catch, I'd be happy as a clam. That, and making the Wild World 'typo' song that K.K. will play when he doesn't recognize what you wrote into a real track.

I'm 64 and my Lego days are long gone.
Oh, I did have some new dialogue but I think it was because of the new villager who moved in. My Son doesn't even play ACNH any longer so it's a bit boring now. He's the only person I know who has the game. I've been relying on Nookazon for gold because I haven't got any in 2 weeks of playing every day!

Everyone thought Nintendo didn't care about Metroid until they announced Metroid Prime 4 which looks like it took years(or a really long time) to make. In other words, we don't know what they're actually making or thinking, also games take a time to plan and make so we should just try to be patient.

My theory is that they dropped NH early to work on a game for the first year or two of Switch 2 once they saw how much AC could sell systems

I hope characters will have more depth in any future game. The blandness of the villagers were a major turn off and are the primary reason why I daw New Horizons as a Town Builder more than an actual animal crossing game.

Rant Alert sorry I don't care if Nintendo said they weren't going to do an update with New Horizons they really really need to! I'm really excited for the new game as well but we still don't know when it's actually gonna come out or if it will be delayed for some reason. They have a lot of time to update New Horizons until then it doesn't even need to be big updates just small ones and I'll be happy! Rant over...
