It turns out, getting your EIN (Employer Identification Number) from the IRS is surprisingly easy! Follow along in this video and I'll show you exactly how I got it for my business entity.

Note: In this video, I registered for an LLC (Limited Liability Company) in the state of Michigan and I was the sold member. Don't just copy my answers as you go through the process, make sure you're entering in the correct information as it relates to your situation.

If I left the DBA section blank because I hadn’t decided on anything yet (I purposefully chose a broad LLC name so I had flexibility to start future companies) am I able or do I have to go back to IRS to edit that or add the name once I launch....? So if you fill out the EIN on your own does it cost anything? Because the companies have packages that cost up to seventy dollars for it.

The question that asked if you would have w2 forms for employees. Would it be extra filing and multiple numbers? What's the importance in the future. Please help. Prior to this I watched how to complete a LLC using Mycorporation.com (which I will use your link) and the question that says business in other states IF yes would you have to complete an LLC for each state?
