I have a new Lyric T6 thermostat. It was installed by a HVAC company without a problem.
The serviceman has installed many T5 and T6 Units.
My phone is a LG Stylo2 with android Nugget OS.
I cannot get the Lyric app to connect to my AT&T Uverse router. The AT&T router has both 4gig and 5gig. I spend over an hour with the online technician. We went into the router and both 4.5ghz and 5.0ghz transmitters had the same name. He told me to change the 5.0ghz to another name. I told him I would find the access code to the router and hung up.
Today, a day later I tried to pair up the phone and the thermostat with the same error message.
I have the mobile data feature on the phone turned off. I had been told that could be a problem.
My phone won't connect to the thermostat.
It goes through all the screen settings and finally says "Finalizing" and never finishes.

I have talked to several other people on my ham radio and they said they had the Lyric T6 and after a month could not get it to work. They took theirs back an purchased an Ecobee from Home Depot.
Anyone else with a problem like mine?
