Merc were lucky to have as are Ferrari now! F1 needs him to counter balance the horridness that seems to be pervasive across all F1 teams at the moment especially in Merc and Red bull teams where there is so much venom!

As much as I love Lewis, if Ferrari builds them a rocket ship by any chance; I believe Leclerc will just about edge Lewis out to win his first championship. Lewis will be very competitive to secure his 8th, but Charles is younger and is already currently the best driver for Ferrari with a good relationship with the staff. So it’s going to be close, but I think Charles will just about have all the motivation he needs to focus because Lewis is no pushover💁🏽‍♂️

I’m new to F1 so I gotta question. How much of a shock factor did Lewis moving to Ferrari have? From the outside looking in, why leave? It wasn’t money or fame or really any of that. I’m trying to figure out how and why this happened and also, how shocking was this? Feel free to let me know, or relate it to other events

It’s not just LeClerc, as he’s matured Hamilton has become so encouraging and supportive of the newer generation of drivers.

It’s good to see that they’ve been working on team building already over the course of this year, because they are going to need it. Charles isn’t go to be the de facto first driver the way he was with Sainz, and while it may take time for Hamilton to bed himself into the team and get used to the car, he has the track record, experience, and confidence to be intimidating to a driver who is almost as self critical as Norris.
