growing up i was quickly diagnosed with adhd, i starting taking medication for it at around 10. i used to feel so insecure about taking my medicine because i thought i ment i was stupid and needed medication to help me keep up with everyone else. that insecurity grew an at 15 every so often it comes back to bite me. for the younger kids with adhd, you’re not stupid, you are actually really bright, and you’re most definitely not alone.

I’m like so sick with the flu and this made me cry and I feel worse now, BUT I have diagnosed ADHD and it sucks, because of the hyperactive part I over think and have VERY BAD ANXIETY. I get another appointment in a few days so I think I’ll go on meds 😭

That’s me with my adhd I think I’m smart but then my science teacher said everyone smart but just in different ways like you could be smart and sports you can be smart and whatever😢❤

I love you so much. I’m in 8th grade but my little sister is in 5th and she already has gotten a letter for being one of the smartest kids in the state and we had state testing around may and we got the same exact score for math and I only got 8 more points ahead of her in English and it just hurts because we’re 3 grade levels apart and I’m the only person in my family who is dumb everyone one else is so smart I wish I could make everyone proud of me. And I do have adhd and no one seems to understand like all my siblings think adhd is to be hyper and that not exactly what it is at all
