When we filmed the Pentozali dance in Do You Wanna Dance?, the director thought that it might be a good idea if I started out dancing it poorly and then got better, as the dance progressed.
Well, that wasn’t happening. As a Greek, I just couldn’t bring myself to dancing a Greek dance poorly and have all my fellow Greeks watch it and think, “What’s up with his Greek dancing?” So, no poorly danced Greek routines for me. I guess, chalk it up to Greek pride.
