The Cantina will double minimum it will take a few years.
The Cloud City set was only on shelves for 14 months.
The Cantina has been available for over 4 years.
Both have a good number of exclusive MiniFigures about the same price.
The biggest difference is the time on shelves.

Tip, invest in sealed polybag exclusive or anniversary figures. Low storage, easy to postage as well as costs. You will always make money too.

At 8:13, 10:10, and 11:45 I think we need to always keep in mind these 2020 value pops were mostly just Covid happening where people were stuck indoors and looking for non-social forms of entertainment. Sort of a one-off event.
Regarding R2-D2, the $99 version comes with a high-value, cool, exclusive minifig. The retiring $240 set only comes with a droid that isn't exclusive (IT IS IN THE MOS EISLEY SET LOL).

All in all, Mos Eisley being on shelves for 4.25 years might be a problem. On top of that, I get the feeling there will be a lot of investors who think this is the best "pick" and investor supply might be higher than normal for a $400 set. As with almost everything else, pricing discounts makes all the difference.

I think just about every master builder series UCS set like Ewok village, betrayal at cloud city etc pretty much double in price. And doubling at that buy in investment is absolutely worth it. If you’re getting the cantina at 100$ off like how it was on Amazon in 2023, then you are doing amazing I believe. This set has great minifigs and many investors are scared of it

Did i hear right you complained about the AT-AT being just all grey. Yet you praised the Star Destroyer that's also all grey.
So it's not the color that's your issue it's the shape.
Personally, the AT-AT is much easier to display.

You know what...I ve been to Legoland in Gernany lately Tuesday and Wednesday. many people and of course mainly Kids. So, I cannot imagine how many collectors are on the way in the upcomming years...uncountable! Old Lego Sets, does not matter which franchise, will skyrocket in value due this Infinit demand. The future is bright💰🤩

The Landspeeder would have been a definite buy before the exclusive C-3PO ended up in another set.
Not as many other resellers.

I just picked up a new sealed Mos Eisley set from someone unloading their investments. Paid 250 for it. I likely could have talked him down a bit, but thought the price was fair enough. I’m currently building the set and really enjoying the build.

Imo cantina will do good. The playablity and unique minifigures help in this set. Also lego investing is cooling off a bit. Lego investing is not for the weak.

When everyone's talking about the same thing, it's time to pull out. Mos Eisley Cantina is gonna be a flop. Amazon and Lego can easily unretire it for another 6-12 months before any meaningful increase in value is seen.

I think mos eisley is #1 for me. The AT AT is risky but potentially profitable. If i buy it its for personal use and not investment.

The issue with At-At vs ISD… LEGO will make an ISD again… there has already been 2… don’t see LEGO remaking AT-AT anytime soon.

Im starting my journey as a lego investor here, Im not from USA, currently I live in Brazil, I think we dont have a solid lego community as the US has, but Im still willing to try investing.

i think AT AT will be a good one since everyone doesn't want to paid such a high price now and missed out .. and when they missing that UCS set.. they will have to go back and buy it again...
