So gender equality is ABOUT giving equal access to resources and opportunities irrespective of one's gender. So I think in the areas education, leadership and healthcare we can practice equality. Here acess is not tailored and the equality is relatively not nuanced or doesn't factor in the nuances that exists.
Gender equity to me is identifying what everyone needs to do well and realize their potential. Here access and resources are not equally distributed because culturally, historically and socially some individuals and groups are lagging and so if we choose equality they would not be able to catch up and by that we would be perpetuating INEQUALITY. So equity is like to each according to their need(s) so that in the end fairness would prevail.

It is about role playing so my question is so long as the other is willing to switch roles i have no issues. But what i won't do is cook and fix the car and pay the bills. And i would also demand that the other goes to see my people and pay the groom price and all that. I would demand he fvcks me as many times as i do. They must take out the trash, fix the leaky pipes and roofs while i mind the kids. I am ready to play the role but i want my partner to be ready and willing to happily switch. ❤

Our gender first and foremost stems from our biology and then culture right? So to free ourselves from these limitations we got to change our biology or educate our culture, right?
