My uncle was humming this theme at a cookout when he was grilling burgers. When they were done he hummed the victory theme.

One of the first pieces of boss music I ever clearly remember growing up. Hypes up any fight. Made the fight against Rufus feel cinematic. And it sounds amazing in the remake!

Half the time you’d take a moment to marvel at the more dynamic zoom-ins and closeups between animations because you’d never seen anything like this in your life. What a groundbreaker this game was, and it helped put the PlayStation on the map, too!

Ever since playing this game at the age of about 6, this has been THE boss theme for me. This is the song I always think of and come back to when I imagine "boss fighting time" even all these years later.
