I just had my first like, battle for a trick. Kickflip off a rampy curb. Trying for 10 mins - bleeding shins - and finally told myself, 'weight more forward', then landed two in a row and rode off smiling. Heelflip next. I'm 22 and been skating properly for a year now. I'm proud of myself.
I'm gonna enjoy the video now, thank you for all these videos lately, Dan. You're killing it.

Gotta say its been wonderful seeing all of these videos of you guys tearing the place up and working on trying new things and improving. And having Matthew videoing and talking to the camera is a rare treat, normally he's just zooming by, catching huge airs, and making everyone stop in their tracks and stare... all before zooming off to the far side of the park and disappearing from the cameras view.
