To be fair to Sheldon, the spitball going in his throat was incredibly gross 😂. Ultimately, this was one of the lessons Sheldon needed to learn, and he kind of did in some ways, was that intelligence comes in many forms, no STEM field is lesser than another as they all work and serve to prop each other up in various ways: Engineers do a lot of heavy lifting in proving the usefulness and application of fields like physics; Computer Science is highly necessary to provide fast and and accurate calculations to complex problems, enabling other fields to speed up the process of proving their research; Mathematics roots itself in all the others by providing a logic foundation for the others to build upon; Physics provides the theoretical backbone necessary to better understand the laws of our universe; etc. etc. They all do things that help to benefit the others in one form or another, though it is sadly very true that there are those in those fields that think themselves above others. I have heard stories of Mathematicians that thought themselves better than all other fields, especially engineering, along the way to getting my Bachelors degree in mathematics, but they ultimately did not get very far in the fields because all they created were enemies in the end.

The writers of this show seemed to be unaware that there's a difference between having knowledge and being smart. Sheldon wants Howard to know everything he has to teach before he allows him to take the class, which makes his class pointless. If Sheldon thought Howard didn't have enough background knowledge to take the class, that's one thing, but he makes it about overall intelligence. Which isn't the character's fault. As far as I can tell, Sheldon (and the rest of them) spend most of their time eating, playing games, watching sci-fi, and going to comic book shops and sci-fi conventions. When are they actually doing all the important work which would undoubtedly take up all their life and leave almost no room for a social life?

I attended technical secondary school and I knew answers to all those questions, although I didn´t even like it. When so bad student as me could answer its quite a shame that they didn´t actually try some hard questions that would be plausible, but this just seems like writers wrote "questions-engineering" to Google and used first examples they could find... which were the most common and as such the easiest.

La ingeniería a creado cosas que todos usamos al día a día. Cuantas personas conoces que sepan de física teórica, a nivel general la ingeniería es mas práctica, crea puentes, edificios y otras muchas cosas. La física creo el horror de las bombas atómicas, ergo, La Guerra Fría. Y llendo mas al tema personal, Howard sabe hacer muchas cosas que Sheldon es super incapaz de hacer: trabajo práctico, magia y dotes interpretativos😂😢
