It gets praise for simply being a Pokemon game, and the real cons are overlooked/ largely ignored.

"I'd still like better cutscenes, companion pokemon, a compete pokedex and a more visually interesting wild area, but these are all just nitpicks that aren't very effective when the rest of the game is a joy to play".

So in a review that's over 7 minutes long, these major issues are skirted over in literally 11 seconds. And there isn't even the slightest mention of the poor textures or frame rate drops. And people wonder why IGN aren't credible reviewers.
