🚨 Ukraine drone strikes Moscow, attempts Putin assassination, Russia claims

Russia just accused Ukraine of an attempted overnight assassination of President Vladimir Putin after two drones struck the Kremlin on May 3, 2023.

Ukraine denies involvement in the alleged attack, claiming Russian partisans were behind the attack. A similar claim was made in response to the Kerch Bridge attack last year, and documents in the Discord Leaks show Ukraine's intelligence agencies planned a strike on Moscow earlier this year but were stopped by US officials.

The attack on Moscow comes as Russian forces complete their capture of Bakhmut and Ukraine prepares to launch its much awaited counter-offensive.
