Man, seeing the old texture for ice made me cry. Cold biomes were always my favourite when i was young.

I remember watching popularMMOs challenge games and seeing emerald and diamond blocks fall from the sky
I remember walking through the nether (old netherack texture is better)
I remember SO MANY HOURS put into buildings being WIPED when they changed the textures

One thing I don’t think about this texture pack as it changes some of the textures that already existed back before the texture update. Like why did they change the totem? There was already a pre-1.14 version

1.14 was a net positive in terms of textures. A great example is the nether. The nether looked so ugly before.
