THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS WHEN I WALK OUT THE DOOR

These unexpected mishaps keep me frazzled whenever I leave my house.

Cindy, For many years I have kept a small basket in a special place where I keep my spare house and car keys. I never move it. No one knows anything about it except my son, and we always return them when we get home. I hang the clothes I’m going to wear near my dressing room and my shoes and jewelry nearby. My purse is by the door. The night before I have an appointment I make sure I have the complete address, phone number, etc. I also put a bottle of water in the fridge to take with me. I’m the person who is sitting on the couch ready to go waiting for someone else. I just made these things a habit over the years, but they say it only takes two weeks to form a new habit, so maybe you try these things and see if you can save some stress. I was pleased to find out the other day that my grandchildren already do these things and they swear by it. You always look perfect, even if you do have a hard time getting out the door! Sorry about your car.

Sounds like a planning problem. I get up get dressed fix my hair, makeup then I sit down and drink my coffee. I agree that preparing your wardrobe the night before if you struggle with time.

I find the best ways to avoid delays in getting ready tis to lay my clothing and makeup out the night before. Works like a charm

I always plan to be places early. I’ll park somewhere close by and check emails or something. I plan the day before, what I’m wearing, what I’m eating for breakfast, put everything I need at the table by the door. If you’re not rushed some of those mishaps can be avoided.

Wow!! Girlfriend I really didn’t think anyone’s life was somewhat like mine to a tee. Cindy I, many, many times go through this, that’s why I’m many times late. You’re a hoot, and had me laughing all the way through even though I’m dealing with Sciatica pain right now. I had to hold my leg from laughing so hard because of the pain. Love you girl! We’re a total comedy show at times for the Lord, cause we keep Him laughing! Get up earlier, that's what I do. I sort of plan it out in my head and add 10 minutes here and there knowing it will take me longer. Just getting out the door and to the car can be 10 minutes! lol I like to have time to relax and have my coffee and read a little and not rush around.

You look lovely as always Cindy! I am thinking you could use a cute little bag to put your duplicate products in and just leave it in the car to keep you prepared at home and in the car. I do. And I love it!
Also try putting your jewelry on last especially your cuff bracelets etc. Like the crowning touch to your outfit. I do know however you don't want it to be snagging while out and about every time you can be an issue, you know where that experience comes from have had that very thing. I usually have an extra or alternate one in a little cosmetic bag in the car as well.
You aren't alone with driving with those big trucks or even on the freeway. It's not how it used to be when we were growing up for sure. I hope you had fun at the card game however and had some winning hands!

Cindy - when I get low on a product I use regularly - I jot it down on my shopping list and make a point to purchase a new one so I never run out! 🤨

Oh Cindy I would have asked God if he was trying to tell you to stay home😬. I hate driving on busy highways too because of the high speed and the trucks always scare me. I also plan to get up and get ready and hate when things just go wacky! You’re not alone for sure. I hope you had a great time when you got there and found your other car keys🥰

I'm 64 and have worked since I was 15, so I've spent my entire life scurrying somewhere in the mornings. I'll be retiring in the next 7 months or so and can't wait to have relaxing mornings. I don't think I will plan any morning activities for a long, long time. 😊

When things like that happen to me. I just stay home, I think God is protecting me from a car accident or something! 😂 Weird, but I think my guardian angel is protecting me. My sister feels the same way, if she misses an exit, she thinks if she had made the exit, she could have had an accident. That way we don’t get stressed. That truck should get a ticket!!!
