I just rescued a kitten. She is so small. She was part of a litter found outside a friend’s apartment. All of them had distemper, she was the only survivor. She’s so cuddly and adorable ❤

For those who may be wondering why she’s bathing them when cats are known for cleaning themselves, these are young kittens. Usually, a kitten’s mama grooms them. These kittens were separated from their mother and are likely too young to know how to effectively clean themselves. Also, in other scenarios, some cats need baths because they can’t effectively clean themselves due to age, size, health, or sudden life changes.
EDIT: she is also NOT declawing the kittens. She is simply trimming their claws down. It’s the same as us humans trimming our fingernails and toenails. It also prevents painful and infection prone ingrown claws. Cats are ambush predators and they try to walk silently. Trimming the claws a little bit every now and then helps prevent noise when they walk.
