How To Make Simple Throwing Knives

How To Make Simple Throwing knives, using very simple tools and materials I show how to make a set of throwing knives, each throwing knife is 6 inches long, 6mm thick and 25mm wide and made from mild steel, I do a demo at the end of the video too showing myself doing half spin and no spin knife throwing with the homemade throwing knives.

Good video, amazing the stuff that can be made with a few tools. We use all this stuff at school but doubt I’d be allowed to make throwing knifes at school

Picked up some fencing and the gates with hinges from a substation revamp opposite my house, plenty of metal for knife projects and yup, throwers are on the list :-)
I'll be using the grinder though, not hacksawing :-D

Use leaf springs from a junk car at the boneyard. Great steel for knives and dirt cheap

That went well Mike, I would be inclined to drill some fancy holes in the handle to give the point a bit more weight, but hay ho anything on some of your previous videos about knife sharpening and have ordered some valve grinding paste to try and finesse my blades
