The 2.4 may not be the fastest or strongest engine ever built, but it is a reliable one. Good enough for daily driving and also has quite a nice sound :)

I've had the same one for 9 years. Maybe not the fastest, but reliable. Currently 359tkm on tacho. Despite the years and mileage, it is still able to go faster than the manufacturer declares (~240 on gps)

Decent aceleration to 100. My Volvo s60 2.4i Inline 5 170Hp similar accelaration to 100. Car weight is 1521 kg.

This engine is no vers fast but the sound and the torque is very great

Very very slow... I have golf 1.9pd asz remapeed to 180hp.. i have 0-120 11sec..
