Trump backs British troops in Ukraine

Donald Trump appeared to back Keir Starmer’s suggestion that British and European troops should be stationed in Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping force, after an end to the war.

The US and Russia met yesterday to discuss ending the war - without Ukraine or European nations at the table.
