Never forget that the supplier of the arms and munitions that they need come from abroad and the major players like the EU, and many more have a great stake in the gold, oil, and other minerals that the country controls. When they are almost done shooting themselves and the country up someone will move in and expect to get a chance to control and plunder the resources for payment at the expense of the citizens and the people who are just trying to survive. These poor people are the ones who are going to pay the greatest price.
