i’m gonna gift disorientation to my friend in academia hehe thanks for the rec! damn sad that you didn’t enjoy on earth we’re briefly gorgeous, i’ve been rlly looking forward to it - but maybe managing my expectations is a good thing!! aw i studied the rabbit proof fence movie in high school, don’t rlly remember it but i reckon it’s worth the watch. enjoyed the vid and interesting range of books as always 🫶🏾

I felt similarly about On earth were briefly gorgeous. It was really on the nose at some points

On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous didn't really do anything for me either. Clearly an overhyped book on booktube. The writing was beautiful the audiobook is great, but it was mostly just flushing over me, without leaving much of an impact.
