thank you for the video! I would like to ask What happens if the main interaction between gender and clothes is not significant, in that case, when we isolate the variables gender and clothes and perform the t-test, can we interpret the main effects?

I'm doing an experiment with a similar design. I've got an almost significant interaction (so sad; it even with crossing lines in my plots), and one significant main effect - but that does not isolate across both levels which means I can't interpret it. How would I report that? I know there is SOMETHING in my results but it's just not reflected :'(

Hi, Thanks for the nicely presented concept. I have a question concerning a set of data of urinary level of substance X that was taken at point 1, 2 and 3 after starting a medication for a group (male female). If I want to test the effect of the duration only it is easy (one way repeated ANOVA) but when I do two-way repeated ANOVA to test the gender effect it will not work and I have a message 'No valid cases were found, Execution of this command stops.'.

But what if ANOVA main effect on clothing is correct in the sense that the male clothing effect was only slightly insigificant, and So ANOVA gave a sort of an overall picture....and where is it written that for main effects, both simple effects shd be significant?

thank you very much this was great help to understand repeated measure ANOVAs with multiple levels. however If you have any videos for more then 2 levels it would great! I am applying a 3 X 3 repeated measures, and interpretation is more difficult then this ...

it is perfect to learn 2 way anova repeat measurement in your tutorial. but i have difficulty in my research data, some of part is not significant.
any video tutorial about 2way repeat measurement when some of the part is not significant, for example it is not significant for gender in you case. what should i do?
