Can somebody please explain to me why I find watching Scottish women dancing the slosh to be one of the most terrifying things in the world? All you have to do is put the appalling 'Beautiful Sunday' on and they sort of aparate and all join in with this communal stomp, usually performed with no obvious enthusiasm whatsoever and a look of almost zombie-like lack of any enjoyment on the part of any of the participants... I don't know what it does to you, but it scares me rigid.
