This is such a great idea for this build. I've seen a couple turbo'd m60/m62 swaps but none with sourcing parts from another bmw v8. Forged pistons and rods are obviously a must with a compression of 11:1. That pull is soo powerful. It is really impressive from a v8 that's around 20 years old

I've been wanting to do this for a while! Got a 540i years ago and never touched it. S62 bits were on the cards but never got round to it. Was the crank a drop in or did it need machining?

can i have all mods bro ? what did you do to go from 4.4 to 4.7 ? others mods for 406hp, ,, its to much comparing to 286
