Oregon District 5 Medicaid recipient here. I was in my doctor's office yesterday, waiting to schedule my next appointment. The receptionist was on the phone, so I stepped back--but not before I heard her trying to explain to someone on the line, "Are you on Medicare or Medicaid? We can't take new patients on Medicare or Medicaid."
My heart shattered.
Medicare is an earned benefit. Not for this guy. And if his income is low, he's out of luck, too.
This is what Donald Trump has done to us.
