IMHO this was the best era for DnB. All the grit and grime and overdrive in the production meant the tracks had character. Not to say that good stuff isn't being made today but none of it has the personality of the millennium era stuff. I feel lucky to have been involved in the scene in those days.

Analogue over Digital unless using a digital engine.
Digital really down graded drum and bass after the millennium.
People need limitations...
And so does music.
Less is more...
And they did so much with so little in the 90's.
The best music in most electronic genres came from the 90's.
House, Techno, and Drum and Bass was straight up killing the dance floors back then.
People dance their asses of back then.
You just don't get any of this now a days.
Vinyl is still the superior dj format.
Digital just created to many options with to much ease of use.
Miss the Good Ole Days.
