Prime Minister Modi Likely To Lay Foundation For Veer Savarkar Campus; Congress Sees Red

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to lay the foundation stone for two new Delhi University campuses in East and West Delhi, along with a college named after Veer Savarkar in Najafgarh. The proposal, approved by the DU Executive Council in 2021, includes building the Savarkar College at a cost of ₹140 crore. The university has extended an invitation to the Prime Minister and is awaiting confirmation.
