But the artists didn't realize the ring would also be affected by the gravitational lens (at the end of the video).

That's just a minor physical detail. The art is amazing regardless.

One problem with the Dyson Sphere : wouldn't the mass of the sphere work against the gravitational force of the sun, and reduce it's ability to drive nuclear fusion?
