As a season ticket holder for 30 years, I've seen the good, the bad and ugly. But yesterday's game was a punch to the gut. Dive for the pen, pretty much the only forward pass Monks did all game was score a nice pen. Great strike from Ruel. But we were 2nd best all game, hoped the gaffer would sort it out at halftime but the formation was the same 2nd half. With no one in midfield we were getting passed around way to easy. At 2 nil, the score flattered us. There fans were awesome and urged them on till the bitter end. They wouldn't lie down. The subs then killed us. I've been a huge fan of the manager but couldn't understand the thinking behind them. Kelman can't hit a barn door and why put him on at 2 nil he waisted a great chance to make it 3. And he took a midfielder off for another striker, at 2 up!. Then takes off our best midfielder for Clay. Making the over run midfield worse at a stroke. Invited trouble. COL U, deserved a point if not more and I thought they won it at the death with that low strike

Getting worried now. Current form would drag us down to the playoffs. We have been lucky so far with our main rivals having indifferent form themselves. Yes it Was Two Points Dropped, But We Are Still There and Doing Far better Than Most of us Anticipated at The Start of The Season.. Colchester Battled Well Untill The end So Credit To Them For That.
