World Bank Group President, Ajay Banga visited Kenya Climate Innovation Center in March, just months before his confirmation to the role! During his visit, Banga interacted with local enterprises that are championing locally-led climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives supported by KCIC.
Banga spoke about the need to develop a strong entrepreneurial culture in Kenya to drive transformative results in tackling climate change. It was amazing to see him engage with these innovative minds and share his vision for a sustainable future.
