What the max size wood or MDF I can use with a Knife blade?

You can usually get birch wood at Home Depot or Lowe's. Not sure if they have it smaller than 1/8 though.

Always good to watch your tutorials you are so thorough in explaining things, making it easy to follow and understand :)
You mentioned at the latter part of this video perhaps upgrading, well would love to but unfortunately very disappointed that cricut maker isnt available here in Australia...would love to get a cricut maker machine, as I am sure a lot of other Australians would too....
cricut is losing a lot of custom by not selling it here...also disappointed that Design space isnt available here, ( I can view it etc ) but sadly can't purchase any thing or make any of the items... also would like to get the cricut press and possibly the light pad....again unavailable!!!... and if I did manage to buy the products else where, I would need to use a plug adapter, (and not sure if they would work as they should) as well as being very expensive shipping costs etc....
so unfortunately as much as I would love to upgrade....not possible here in Aussie....
I did comment on Debbie O neal's page, as above and she said she would try and find out for me, which I thought was really nice of her....but unfortunately she didnt have any good news for me at that time...that was a few months ago....she did say cricut were thinking about it...
wish they would think harder and faster lol....
sorry for my rant lol....
I love cricut products, and get very disappointed when can't get them over here....
I have a cricut explore, love it....(my daughter bought it for me a couple of years ago...cost her a small fortune to get it over here!!!)

I've been waiting for the blade. I'm a bit disappointed it's limited to a cut no less than 3/4". That makes it not very useful for anything intricate. I was hoping for more intricate which is why I was so eager to see the blade. How does it do on curves or is it also limited to just straight lines and corners? I'm looking forward to your explorations with the new tool.

Please-please-please Ken, cut some chipboard. Show us what this little wonder can do!!!! Some people will cut wood, so that is wonderful... but ALL crafters will cut chipboard at one time or another.
