We had a lot of holes to drill or auger as one would say. We needed to set quite a few 4x6 treated post so Harley said why aren’t we using the Makita 40v Auger (GGD01). Wow, we were really surprised at how fast this tool worked and why we hadn’t been using it sooner.

Do you guys prefer to not use that additional right angle attachment that you set against your body? I feel like you wouldn't have to put in as much effort to keep the drill from rotating counter-clockwise

Pretty cool, although it would probably be pretty useless in my yard. Even a 2 man auger was a b*tch putting some holes in my rocky soil. Hey, so how are you guys making out post-Helene. Did that impact you where you are?
