Athens - A walk through Ermou and Syntagma Square

Today @onceuponawalk started with a visit to Ermou street, a pedestrian street filled with clothing and shoes shops in the centre of Athens. Situated at the bottom of Ermou street is one of the oldest churches in Athens and we had a quick peak inside.

Near Ermou street is Voukourestiou street, where the high-end brands can be found. After all that walking what better way to relax than with a drink at 18 Ermou roof garden with a view of the Acropolis.

For lunch we visited Ergon House restaurant and deli to grab a bite and view the local produce before making our way to see the changing of the guards (Evzones) on Syntagma Square.
