Dook - Ripping

Показать описание
Imagine a pulsating mass of raw, unbridled energy. A musical wall of soul- crushing riffs, heart-pounding beats and raging vocals. Now behold a true evolution in musical dynamics: DOOk.
Right from the start, Montreal's DOOk was never one to be overlooked. The band was formed in May 2000 by vocalist Sebastien, shortly thereafter joined by Alex on drums as well as of Luke on guitars.(Very recently we welcomed Mat on guitar and Luc(#2) on bass).
DOOk then quickly set out to massively expose themselves throughout the province of Quebec by playing numerous shows, thus crediting the band with a substantial amount of stage experience. As a result, the band had both forged an ironclad sound and original onstage persona. "The idea was to come up with a product that was at once intelligent, direct and explosive," says frontman Sebastien. "For us, it was by combining our own various musical influences and backgrounds." All of which are thoroughly present throughout Dook's debut EP "Who the fuck are they?" a self-analytical approach to the hardships of love and day to day life. From the supercharged musical onslaught of "Holy shit" to the highly emotional melodies of "Miss you", DOOk's debut marked the transition between dreams and reality therefore setting the stage for what was yet to come.
Who the fuck are they? A mass of ironwilled souls, deadset in their path towards brutaly honest, catchy and unrelenting musical experiences. They are DoOk
